Thanks for opening this PR. We cannot bump the tools version to 5.10 yet due to downstream dependents needing to support older Swift versions. This will have to wait unfortunately. |

Refactors existing XCTest-based unit tests to use Swift Testing. Updates test structure with
@Suiteand@Testattributes, replacesXCTAssertcalls with#expectmacro, replacesXCTUnwrapcalls with#requiremacro, and bumps Swift tools version to5.10.
